My own Winter outlook for Long Island & the Northeast
Here’s my own Winter outlook for Long Island & the Northeast.
the pattern to me looks to be more zonal to me for the majority of the Winter months. With a beautiful start to Fall across the Northeast, temperatures have been above normal, but that will change soon. December should come in colder than Average for most of the area, while I’m thinking January should be below Average. February looks to be a split of half above & half below the Averages. March looks to be below Average as has been the last few seasons. As far as snow goes, I’m thinking inland areas should be above Average & coastal areas below Average. Look for some big coastal storms, but the majority should miss the big cities as storms will trend more East toward the gulf stream.
I hope you enjoyed this outlook, and look forward to your comments.
